This policy explains what information Tracy's Tidy Homes ("we", "us") collects through this website and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- What you send us. When you use our contact form, ask for a quote or book a visit, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, phone number, email address, the address for the work and your message.
- Text message consent. If you tick the box to receive text messages, we keep a record that you agreed, with the date and time, the version of the wording you agreed to, and the internet (IP) address the form was sent from.
- Visits to this website. This website records which pages are viewed and which buttons are pressed, the page that sent you here, whether you are using a phone or a computer, and, where available, an approximate city worked out from your IP address. Your IP address is kept with those records, so the business can see it alongside your visit, for up to 90 days, after which it is removed. Visits are told apart by a random ID stored in your browser, not by your name.
- Cookies. This website uses the cookies its software needs to work, such as a session cookie and a cookie that tells repeat visits apart. This website does not set advertising cookies itself. If a page plays a video from YouTube or Vimeo, that video is loaded from their service, which may set its own cookies and receives your IP address.
How we use it
We use this information to reply to you, prepare quotes, schedule and carry out work, send the text messages you agreed to, keep a record of the work we do for you, and see how our website is used.
Who we share it with
We share your information with the service providers that run this website and our business tools for us: the software company that hosts this website and our customer records, and the services that deliver our email, app notifications and text messages. Card payments made through the quote and invoice pages we send you are processed by Stripe, and we do not receive your full card number. The address for a job may be sent to a mapping service (Google or OpenStreetMap) to place it on a map. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
This website may load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the basic information your browser sends with any request, such as your IP address.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and tick the text message box, Tracy's Tidy Homes may send you text messages: appointment and service updates, such as booking confirmations and job-completion notices, appointment reminders, on-the-way notices, estimates, invoices, receipts and payment reminders. Agreeing to texts is optional and is never a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also call 707-391-1472.
Your mobile number, your text message opt-in and your consent to receive texts are never shared with, sold or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Apart from the service providers described above, who handle them only to run our website, email, app notifications and text messages for us, and any disclosure the law requires, they are not given to anyone.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details below. Some records, such as quotes, invoices and consent records, may need to be kept for our business or legal records. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it to serve you and run our business, or for as long as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
